Got your pens out and mark your diaries, A4u will be having a networking event on Friday July 20th 2007. Hang out in the sunshine with your fellow affiliate marketers. No seminars, no presentations just networking and fun.
Affiliate Health Check are running a series of getting started in affiliate marketing seminars which are being held in London, Manchester & Glasgow in May focused on merchants.

This one day course is ideal for companies just starting with their affiliate programme, or those companies wondering whether affiliate marketing is the right addition to the marketing mix for them. It answers some of the following questions.

As discussed previously there is an a4uEvents Gaming Vertical in Birmingham on April 27th. They have opened registration so book your place now, as they are limited. Costs are:
- Affiliates - £25 + VAT
- Merchants & Agencies £75 + VAT
- Networks - £75 + VAT (strictly no sales staff)
Starting at 12.30pm there will be an interactive & educational afternoon with full of networking opportunities, in a relaxed and friendly environment at Aston Villa’s Villa Park Stadium. Further networking will be possible at the evening venue.

You can become a sponsored affiliate and get entry to the Casino Affiliate Convention in Amsterdam (May 3rd-5th) by just requesting sponsorship at the CAC website. 80% of affiliates that attend Casino Affiliate Conventions are in fact sponsored and attend for free!
Sponsors and exhibitors will sponsor new affiliates in exchange for becoming an affiliate of theirs. If you want to become a sponsored affiliate, please do the following:
- Fill out the form on the CAC website
- Quote “affmeet” in the referred by box
- You will be contacted in advance of the event by an affiliate program
- Meet a representative of the affiliate program the evening before the event
There are no guarantees that you will be sponsored, as decisions to sponsor are made by the affiliate programmes, but you have to be in it to win it. The form is here.
Early bird prices are available for the A4uExpo in London, take advantage before 20th April 2007. The standard stand package will cost you £2295 +VAT with one open side, or a corner stand costs £2595 + VAT. For just an extra £300 it is really worth getting that corner stand if you can. You’ll get six square metres of exhibition space. The price includes:
- Two a4uexpo passes
- Shell Scheme stand
- Fascia name board on each open side
- One electrical power point
- Two spotlights
- Listing in the a4uexpo conference programme
- A link from a4uexpo website to your website prior to the event
